Each summer, Cultivating Community partners with Wayside Food Programs, The Book Fairy, Locker Project, Garbage to Garden, The City of Portland, the Children’s Museum, various locally owned businesses, and musicians to host four Pop Up Picnics at community gardens.

This growing season, meet us in a different community garden each month to help us tidy-up the space. At each volunteer event, we’ll do tasks like weeding, woodchip mulching, repairs, and clean up. Snacks, work gloves, and tools will be provided, but please wear clothes you don’t mind getting dirty and bring a refillable water bottle.
