We are hosting a raised bed building workshop at Common Share Community Garden. Common Share is a one acre communally-farmed garden nestled within Portland’s Easter Prom. Help us transform this in-ground garden into a beautiful raised bed garden before the growing season begins!

Cultivating Community’s Spring program, Youth Leadership Intensive, invites you to help “wake up” the Boyd St. Urban Farm for Maine’s growing season! At this party you’ll: Give our youth interns the chance to lead an event, work on garden projects, clean up green spaces, and connect as a community over the promise of new growth!

This growing season, meet us in a different community garden each month to help us tidy-up the space. At each volunteer event, we’ll do tasks like weeding, woodchip mulching, repairs, and clean up. Snacks, work gloves, and tools will be provided, but please wear clothes you don’t mind getting dirty and bring a refillable water bottle.
