The first spring veggies are starting to be harvested and thousands of seedlings are yet to be planted. Summer is waiting on just a little more sun, but fresh, locally grown food will soon begin to flow.
The foundation of all our programs is the 40,000+ culturally familiar seedlings we provide annually. With Maine’s short growing season, our seedlings need a warm home – your donations will help us pour the foundation, run the utilities, and build a new greenhouse at Hurricane Valley Community Farm.
We need to raise $40,000 to complete the greenhouse project, make our work more sustainable, and keep growing for years to come.
