2025 Volunteer Days: 9/10 at Casco Bay

Volunteers needed! We are hosting a raised bed building workshop at Boyd Street Community Garden. Help us transform this in-ground garden into a beautiful raised bed garden before winter comes!

This growing season, meet us in a different community garden each month to help us tidy-up the space. At each volunteer event, we’ll do tasks like weeding, woodchip mulching, repairs, and clean up. Snacks, work gloves, and tools will be provided, but please wear clothes you don’t mind getting dirty and bring a refillable water bottle.

Join us on May 31st at Allagash Brewing Co. Cellars to celebrate our Community Farms! This event is free and family friendly. We’ll have live music, a raffle, local snacks, and Boyd St. Orchard peach beer.

Cultivating Community’s Spring program, Youth Leadership Intensive, invites you to help “wake up” the Boyd St. Urban Farm for Maine’s growing season! At this party you’ll: Give our youth interns the chance to lead an event, work on garden projects, clean up green spaces, and connect as a community over the promise of new growth!
