Cultivating Community needs volunteers to meet its community food work goals. Volunteering can help you deepen your connection to the land and natural environment while providing greater food security for those in need--and you can learn about sustainable farming, to boot. It's a great way to get some fresh air and exercise, meet interesting people, and experience what organic farming is about in the new millennium.
We welcome individuals and groups interested in volunteering to contact us year round, and we are especially likely to have many volunteer opportunities from early spring through the end of the growing season. We are very happy to arrange volunteer experiences around the volunteers' schedule, or one could join us for a planned volunteer day.
Attendence to events is open to the public. For volunteer questions and inquiries, please e-mail grower's assistant and volunteer coordinator Sarah Marshall, or phone her at (207) 761.GROW
